Sending your listings to Rightmove, Zoopla and other portals

Create a portal feed so Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket, Boomin or your feed provider collects your listings automatically. · Updated 11/09/2026

Portal feeds are for estate and letting agent accounts. You add a property once, and the listings sites collect it from a secure feed of your own.

Before you start

Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket and Boomin only accept listings from agents who hold a membership with them. Your membership stays with you — we supply the feed, they collect it. You'll need the branch code they gave you.

Create a feed

1. Go to Properties → Portal feeds and press New feed. 2. Choose where it's going. The right format is picked for you: - Rightmove, OnTheMarket, Boomin — BLM v3 - Zoopla and PrimeLocation — property XML - Anything else, including your existing feed provider — JSON 3. Enter your branch code, and an agent reference if the portal asked for one. 4. Tick which listing types go — sales, lettings, commercial, land, new homes, auction. Leave them all unticked to send everything. 5. Tick which statuses go. Most agents send Available and Under offer, and leave Sold and Let out. 6. Save, then press Copy next to the feed address.

Give the address to the portal

Email the feed address and your branch code to that portal's data feeds team and ask them to set it up as your feed. They usually do it within a few working days and then collect it several times a day.

Check what they'll get

Press Preview on any feed to see the exact file a portal will collect and how many listings are in it. Last collected on each feed tells you when a portal last picked it up and how many times.

What's included in each listing

Photos (up to 40, in your order), floorplans, EPC, brochure, virtual tour, features, price and price qualifier, bedrooms, bathrooms, property type, tenure, council tax band, floor area, the full description and the address.

To improve what goes out, improve the listing under Properties — the feed follows.

Keeping it safe

Each feed has its own secret address and only ever contains your own properties. If an address has been shared too widely, press New address: a fresh one is created and the old one stops working immediately. Send the new one to the portal. Switching a feed off stops portals getting anything until you turn it back on.

Common questions

A price change hasn't shown on Rightmove. Portals collect on their own schedule, so allow a few hours. Your own website updates instantly.

Nothing is in my feed. Check the listing statuses you ticked and that the properties are switched on under Properties.

Can I use my current feed provider? Yes — give them the JSON or XML address instead of typing listings in twice.
