Capturing full pet profiles

Breed, date of birth, sex, neutered status, microchip, insurance, vet contact, allergies, medications and behaviour — all on one pet record. · Updated 30/07/2026

Customers of pet grooming and veterinary businesses can build a full profile for each of their pets, so staff always have the details they need without asking every visit.

Adding a pet

  • From your customer account, go to My pets › Add a pet.
  • Choose a species (dog, cat or other), then search for a breed from a built-in list — or pick "Crossbreed / Mixed" or "Other" and type your own.
  • Enter a date of birth; the app calculates and displays the pet's current age automatically.
  • Set sex (male, female, or prefer not to say) and whether they're neutered/spayed.

Health and safety details

  • Microchip number and insurance provider for quick reference in an emergency.
  • Vet contact details — name, practice and phone number.
  • Allergies and medications, so groomers and clinicians know before they start.
  • Behaviour notes — anything staff should know in advance (nervous around dryers, needs a muzzle, great with kids, etc).

Where it's used

  • Groomers see relevant fields (breed, size, coat, vaccination status) when quoting price and duration via the pricing matrix.
  • Vets see the full clinical picture — allergies, medications and vaccination history — on the appointment.
  • Staff can view and update a pet's profile from App › Customers at any time; customers can keep their own pets' details current from their account.
