Connect Stripe to take deposits

To take deposits or full payment at booking time you need to connect a Stripe account. This is available on Pro and Business plans.

Steps

• Go to App › Payments.
• Click Connect Stripe. You'll be redirected to Stripe to sign in or create an account.
• Complete Stripe's onboarding (bank details, ID verification).
• Return to BookAppointment — the page updates to Connected.

Platform fees

BookAppointment takes a small platform fee on each deposit or payment taken, on top of Stripe's own processing fees. The current per-booking-payment platform fee is:

• Starter: card payments not included
• Pro: 1% + 20p
• Business: 0.5% + 20p

These are set on each plan in SaaS Admin › Plans — always check the [Pricing page](/pricing) for the current live rates.

Stripe's own processing fees (typically 1.5% + 20p in the UK for standard cards) are separate and taken by Stripe directly.
