Running an aesthetics or beauty clinic on BookAppointment

Aesthetics and beauty clinics combine compliance requirements with a premium client experience — BookAppointment covers both.

Patch tests

For lash, brow, tint and any service that needs a skin test, turn on Requires patch test with a validity window (e.g. 48 hours). Bookings are blocked automatically until a valid test is on file — see "Patch tests for lash, brow and tint services".

Consultations and health forms

Attach an intake/health form to injectable or higher-risk treatments — allergies, medical history, pregnancy, medications and a signature. Add a required consultation appointment ahead of a treatment by creating it as its own bookable service, so first-timers always see a practitioner before the main treatment.

Deposits

Higher-value treatments warrant deposits by default — set your policy under App › Settings › Payments to require a deposit on all bookings or just on previously flagged customers.

Add-ons and options

Use service options for variants (e.g. lip vs cheek filler volume) and add-ons for optional extras, keeping your menu clean while pricing stays accurate.
