Re-invite customers to set a new password
Send a branded 'set a new password' email to imported or dormant customers — with a dry run and delivery stats before you send. · Updated 30/07/2026
After an import — or for customers who've never logged in — you can invite them to set up online account access with a branded re-invite email.
Who gets included
Customers are eligible for re-invite when they have an email on file, have never logged in, and haven't already been re-invited. App › Customers shows this count so you know how many are pending.
Run a dry run first
Before sending anything, click Dry run to render the exact email a batch of customers would receive and see a live preview — no messages actually go out. This is the safest way to check your branding, wording and links look right before a real send.
Send the campaign
- Go to App › Customers › Re-invite.
- Optionally send a test email to yourself first.
- Click Send campaign to email everyone pending (or a limited batch), each with a unique secure link to set their password.
- View stats afterwards — how many were sent, opened and clicked, where supported.
Notes
- This uses the same branded email templates as the rest of your account, so your logo and colours are already applied.
- Re-invited customers are marked so you don't accidentally email the same person twice.
