Showing an announcement on your website

Put a short notice across the top of your website — late opening, a new team member, a seasonal offer. · Updated 11/09/2026

Go to Website → Contact & socials. At the bottom you'll find the announcement bar.

1. Turn on Show announcement bar. 2. Type your message — keep it to one line, it's a banner rather than a paragraph. 3. Optionally add a link, so tapping the bar takes people to a page or your booking form. 4. Save.

It appears across the top of every page of your website, and disappears the moment you switch it off.

Good uses

  • “Closed Monday 25th — back Tuesday as normal.”
  • “Now open until 8pm on Thursdays.”
  • “20% off with our newest barber this month — book here.”

When to use something else instead

  • Telling existing customers about an offer reaches more people as an email campaign (Marketing → Campaigns).
  • Stopping bookings for a set of dates is a closure, not an announcement (Settings → Hours & closures).
