Vaccination gate for pet grooming
Block bookings unless the pet has a valid, in-date vaccination record on file. · Updated 15/07/2026
For grooming services where you need up-to-date vaccinations before the pet comes in, turn the vaccination gate on and the system enforces it at checkout.
Turn it on for a service
- Go to App › Services and open the service.
- Scroll to Pet vaccination and tick Require valid vaccination record.
- Save.
What the customer does
- On their pet's profile they upload proof of vaccination (photo of the certificate is fine).
- Each record has an expiry date. Anything expired stops counting automatically.
- If they try to book a gated service without a valid record, they see a clear message telling them to add one first.
What staff sees
- The vaccination status is shown on the pet profile and on the booking detail.
- Staff can add or verify records from the customer's pet profile in App › Customers.
Use this alongside deposits for regular chompers and no-showers to keep the shop safe and full.
