Patch tests for lash, brow and tint services
Require a valid patch test before a customer can book — automatically enforced at checkout. · Updated 15/07/2026
If you offer lash lifts, tints, brow lam or any service that needs a skin test, you can require a patch test on file before the booking is allowed to go through.
Turn it on for a service
- Go to App › Services, open the service.
- Tick Requires patch test.
- Set the window — how many hours the patch test stays valid for (default 48).
- Save.
What the customer sees
- When they pick a service that needs a patch test, we check their account for a valid one.
- If they have no test on file (or it's older than the window), booking is blocked with a clear message asking them to book a patch test first.
- Staff can record a patch test manually from the customer's profile in App › Customers.
What staff sees
- The customer's patch-test status is shown on their profile and on the booking detail, with the date it was performed and when it expires.
Use this alongside deposits to cut both no-shows and reactions.
