Opening hours, holidays and closures
Set your normal week, close for bank holidays or a refit, and book time off for individual team members. · Updated 11/09/2026
Everything about when you're open lives under Settings → Hours & closures.
Your normal week
Set an open and close time for each day, or mark a day as closed. This is the outer boundary — nothing can be booked outside it, whatever a team member's own hours say.
Closing for a day or a week
Add a closure with a start and end date and a short reason (“Bank holiday”, “Shop refit”). Online booking stops for those dates straight away.
Closures don't cancel appointments that are already booked — check the diary for those dates and ring anyone affected.
Individual team members
Working hours and holidays per person live under Services & staff → Team. Someone's hours can be shorter than the shop's, never longer. Add time off for holidays, training or an afternoon at the dentist.
Quick checklist when nothing is bookable
1. Is the day marked open under Hours? 2. Is there a closure covering those dates? 3. Does at least one team member have hours that day? 4. Is that person set to be bookable online, and do they offer the service? 5. Are you looking beyond the notice period set in Booking rules?
