Downloading a backup of your data
Take a full copy of your customers, appointments, payments, services, team, reviews and website content as spreadsheets — free on every plan. · Updated 11/09/2026
You can download everything in your account at any time, on every plan, at no extra cost.
How to create a backup
1. Open Settings → Download your data. 2. Press Create a backup. 3. Wait a few moments while we gather your records. The download starts on its own when it's ready. 4. We also email you a private download link, in case you'd rather grab it later or on another device.
What's inside
A single zip file containing spreadsheets (CSV files) for:
- Customers, with contact details, notes and marketing preferences
- Every appointment, past and upcoming
- Payments, deposits, refunds and tips
- Services, prices, add-ons and options
- Your team, their hours and time off
- Reviews and review requests
- Email campaigns and who received them
- Your website pages, content and settings
Open any file in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. There's also a README.txt listing what the archive contains.
Who can do it
Only the account owner. A backup contains every customer's contact details, so managers and team members can't create one — ask your owner if you need it.
How often
Once a day. Your last few backups stay listed on the page so you can download them again.
How long the link lasts
Seven days. After that the link stops working — create a fresh backup if you need another copy.
Keep it safe
The file holds personal data about your customers. Store it somewhere secure, don't email it around, and delete old copies you no longer need.
What about restoring?
There's no self-service restore, on purpose — overwriting your live diary from a file is too risky. We take our own protected copies of the whole system, so if something ever goes wrong at our end, contact support and we'll put it right.
