Restore points: getting your website or data back

Everything you build in BookAppointment is copied automatically every night, so nothing can be lost for good.

What's in a nightly copy

• Website and content — pages, sections, menus, footer links, search titles and descriptions, redirects and articles.
• Business setup — services, prices, add-ons, options, your team, working hours, closures, locations and message templates.
• Records — customers, appointments, payments, reviews, enquiries, waiting list and campaigns.

Sensitive things are deliberately left out of a copy: your bank details, card reader keys, calendar connections and login codes.

If something's gone wrong

Contact support and tell us what changed and roughly when. We can put that part back from any copy taken in the last two weeks.

• Website and setup come back exactly as they were on the day you choose.
• Records are only added back where they're missing, so anything that happened since stays put.

Every rollback takes a fresh safety copy first, so it can be reversed if the older version isn't what you expected.

Your own copy to keep

You can also download everything yourself at any time. Go to Download your data in your account and you'll get one zip file of spreadsheets that open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. It's free on every plan, and there's a link emailed to you as well.

It contains your customers' contact details, so keep it somewhere safe.
