Soft play centres: headcount-safe sessions, QR tickets and Apple Wallet

Soft play centres, play barns and indoor play centres can now run their sessions on BookAppointment with the new Soft Play Centres add-on.

One headcount, every ticket

Set up morning, lunchtime and after-school sessions once and repeat them weekly. Each session has a single headcount limit, and babies, toddlers, children and adults each have their own price. Every ticket that counts is checked against that limit the moment a booking is saved, so a session can never go over — even when two families try to take the last spaces at once.

A booking that works one-handed

Parents pick a day, choose a session, tap plus and minus for each ticket, agree your rules of play and they're booked. There's no account to create first.

QR tickets and Apple Wallet

Every booking gets a ticket page and a confirmation email with a QR code. iPhone users can add the ticket to Apple Wallet so it's ready on their phone when they arrive.

A front door that keeps moving

The door scanner works with a tablet or phone camera, or a USB or Bluetooth barcode reader. Scan a ticket and you'll see the family's name, who's in the group, anything still to pay and the wristband colour for that session. Tickets that are cancelled or already used are flagged straight away.

What it costs

The Soft Play Centres add-on is £35 a month on top of the Pro or Business plan, with no booking fees for parents. It's included free during the 14-day trial.
