Presentation modes: full website, page or widget — and how to embed

Use BookAppointment as your whole website, a single hosted booking page, or an embeddable widget on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or Webflow. · Updated 30/07/2026

You don't have to choose between BookAppointment and your existing website — pick the presentation mode that fits.

The three modes

  • Website — your BookAppointment site is your website, on your subdomain or custom domain, built with the section editor.
  • Booking page only — a single hosted booking page you link to from your existing site, bio link or social profiles.
  • Widget — an embeddable booking flow you drop into a page on your own site, keeping your existing homepage untouched.

Choose your mode under App › Design › Presentation or App › Booking links › Website embeds.

Embedding the widget on your own site

Go to App › Booking links & embeds, open the Website embeds tab, and copy the embed snippet. Platform-specific steps:

  • WordPress: add a Custom HTML block (or Code block) on the page and paste the snippet.
  • Wix: in the editor click Add (+) › Embed Code › Embed HTML and paste the snippet.
  • Squarespace: add a Code Block to the page and paste the snippet.
  • Shopify: edit the page in the theme editor and add a Custom Liquid / HTML section with the snippet.
  • Webflow: drag an Embed element onto the page and paste the snippet.

For any other platform, look for an "HTML", "Embed" or "Custom code" block in the page editor — nearly every website builder has one.

QR codes and share links

The same Booking links & embeds page also generates a QR code and shareable links (with per-channel analytics) for Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and print posters — see "Booking links, QR codes and analytics".
