Bringing your old blog posts across from your existing website

Import the posts from your current website as drafts, with photos, dates and automatic redirects from the old addresses. · Updated 11/09/2026

If your current website has a blog or news section, you don't need to retype it.

How to import

1. Go to Website → Import 2. Enter your current website address 3. Press Find my posts 4. Untick anything you don't want, then press Bring selected posts across

We read your site's news feed where it has one, or the blog page itself where it doesn't, and bring across the title, date, wording and main photo of each post.

What happens next

  • Posts arrive as drafts under Website → News posts so you can check them before anyone sees them
  • The original publish dates are kept where we can read them
  • A redirect is added from each old address to the new one, so old links and search results still work
  • Tick Publish them straight away during the import if you'd rather skip the draft stage

Things worth checking

  • Photos inside the body of a post may need adding again — the main cover photo comes across automatically
  • Very unusual layouts may import as plain wording; tidy the post in the editor afterwards
  • We bring across up to 20 posts at a time. Run it again if you have more.
