Feature requests: ask us to build it, track it, and get told when it's live
New 'Request a feature' page on the website and a matching button in your dashboard — describe what would help your business, how urgent it is, and send it straight to our team.
By BookAppointment
We've shipped feature requests: ask us to build it, track it, and get told when it's live to every BookAppointment account — no upgrade, no setup fee, and nothing to install. Here's exactly what changed and how to start using it.
What's new
- New 'Request a feature' page on the website and a matching button in your dashboard — describe what would help your business, how urgent it is, and send it straight to our team.
- Your requests now live under 'Request a feature' in the dashboard with a status (under review, planned, being built, shipped or not planned), our reply and a running timeline of updates.
- The integrations page now points to the feature request form instead of the general contact form.
- Behind the scenes: a feature request list in platform admin with statuses, replies, internal notes and timeline entries.
- When something ships we can email the person who asked, and prepare an announcement email (what's new, how to use it) that waits in a pending campaign list until we choose to send it to all customers, just the requesters, or one business type.
Why it matters
Every release we ship comes from real UK businesses telling us what slows their day down. This one lands in the parts of the system you already use, so there's no new tool to learn — open your dashboard and it's there.
How to start using it
- Sign in to your BookAppointment dashboard.
- Look for the new options described above — they're switched on for every plan.
- Not sure where to begin? Our help centre walks through each step, or you can reply to any email from us and we'll set it up with you.
If something you need still isn't here, tell us: every request goes on our public ideas board where other businesses can back it, and we email you the day it's built.
Want something we haven't built?
Tell us what would help your business. Every idea lands on our public board where other businesses can back it — and we email you the day it's live.
More updates
Public ideas board, smart duplicate matching and a news page
As you type a feature request we now search everything already asked for and suggest close matches — back an existing idea with one tap instead of raising a duplicate.
