I have improved website imports to retain original content markup and styles when the source provides them, rather than forcing every page into a generic template.

Header and footer menus

I now read the two menus separately, retaining labels, grouped links and external destinations. Drawer-style sites can use a Menu button with grouped links. I also fixed a saving issue that removed child links from builder menus.

Parent and child pages

In the website builder, choose a Parent page in the page settings and save. Child pages appear beneath their parent, and automatic navigation groups them together. Their existing page addresses remain unchanged.

Review before publishing

Source content is isolated from the rest of the site, and scripts and forms are not copied. Recognised slide controls, horizontal carousels, category filters and disclosures now use reviewed interactions rather than source scripts. Imported appearance stays private in draft previews until homepage publication. Other interactive widgets and newsletter forms may still need rebuilding. I recommend comparing every imported page and menu against the source before publishing; this is not a guarantee of a pixel-perfect copy.
