When you bring your existing website across, the goal is simple: it should look like your site, and you should be able to change every part of it afterwards. This release takes a big step towards both.

Recognised sections become real blocks

The importer now recognises the most common page sections — big banner heroes, grids of photo cards, price lists, image-and-text bands, photo galleries, FAQs, call-to-action banners and long-form about text — and rebuilds each one as a genuine website-builder block with your words, photos, prices and links already filled in.

That means no more frozen sections you can only look at. Change a heading, swap a photo, edit a price or remove a card — it all works exactly like a page you built yourself. Anything truly unusual is still preserved as it was, so nothing is lost.

A visual footer builder

Your footer can now be designed piece by piece. Add rows, split each row into columns (half and half, thirds, quarters and more), then drop blocks into each column: your business name and logo, social links, contact details, opening hours, menu columns, legal links, a subscribe box, a booking banner, payment icons, copyright and custom text.

Every block has its own settings and an on/off switch, so you can try ideas without deleting anything. If you never touch it, your footer stays exactly as it is today — the visual layout is entirely opt-in.

What this means for switching

Each import from now on arrives more editable and closer to the original. If you imported before this release and want the new editable blocks, run the import again from Move my website across.
