Try the API from your dashboard with the new playground
Pick an example request, paste your key and press Send — the API playground on your API & webhooks page runs real requests against your own data and shows the answer.
By BookAppointment

Connecting your own website, CRM or back-office system to BookAppointment used to mean firing requests from a terminal before you knew whether your key worked. Now you can do it from the dashboard.
Where to find it
Open API & webhooks in your settings. Under your keys and webhooks there's a new API playground.
How it works
- Pick an example request — your services, your team, free times, your bookings, your customers, or creating a booking.
- Paste one of your API keys. If you've just created a key it's filled in for you while it's still on screen.
- Press Send request.
You'll see the response exactly as your own system would receive it, along with the status and how long it took.
Hand it to your developer
Copy as command gives you the same request as a ready-to-run command, so you can send it straight to whoever is doing the integration.
Safe by design
The playground only ever talks to your own account, and only with a key that belongs to you. Bear in mind requests are real — creating a booking in the playground creates a genuine booking in your diary.
API access, webhooks and the playground are included on the Business package.
